Retreats and Days of Silence

By prior arrangement, the manor welcomes those seeking silence and offers rooms for retreats and events led by spiritual teachers who wish to realise their plans at Abgunste and provide themed personal-growth seminars or camps.

The event format may also mean that Abgunste makes keeping silence its primary value for the agreed period, allowing the rooms to be adapted for meditation, contemplation and reflection, while the kitchen can prepare vegetarian meals.

Accommodation is available in separate beds for up to 60 people, or up to 90 people during the summer season in the attic area. Tent pitches are possible in the manor courtyard, garden or park.

A pond for swimming is available.

The surrounding nature, manor grounds, fields and quiet roads reveal lovely walking routes that can serve as a path towards oneself, while the manor apartments offer peaceful oases for contemplation and emotional renewal.
