First, thanks to circumstances, people, social media, or some happy chance that brought us together - at least for this first step of getting acquainted :) You have the chance to become part of reviving a cultural-historical heritage, co-create and enjoy a wonderful event, while Abgunste gains cool new clients to keep developing. Your celebration could help us restore a window, create a flowerbed in the park, buy large plants, upgrade a room, etc. - in any case, continuing to provide work for local helpers, experience for art students, maintain the creative residency center, and letting us as hosts share our dream, experience, lifestyle - inspiring and “pulling along” others to take risks, restore, share, create their dream home or space for creativity, celebrations, and/or relaxation for others. And it can all be combined - as happens at Abgunste!
The Celebration Barn holds up to 150 guests, but we've mastered spaces for just four! The Large Living Room comfortably fits 50 guests. Manor rooms sleep up to 90 guests. Ceremonies can be held in the orangeries, by the manor steps, in the barn, large living room, by the pond, or under the big oak if the day promises to be very hot.
Upon request (specifying preferred date/month/weekday and guest count), you'll receive a quote/offer for your desired number (changeable up to 10 days before, when final payment is due). Individual items can be adjusted, reducing or increasing scope/content. Recent practice shows guests often book rooms on their own dime rather than fully covered. Decor can use more economical solutions without losing overall charm and solemnity - we discuss it all in person. Remember, this may be the biggest event of your life, but also the birth day of a new family (or official sealing of an existing one) - no need to overspend. Yet good, beautiful things cost. Our quote includes everything for the venue with no hidden fees. Your responsibility: outfits and rings, music, photos, officiant, print materials, wedding cake. Other details are just extras to enhance if you wish to plan and fund them…
Our rental price includes a lot already - string lights, outdoor lanterns, orangeries, furniture (chairs, tables, sofas), rugs, vases, stands/easels, gift chest, crates, garden lighting, firewood for bonfire, waste removal, screen, projector, sound system…
We've developed a banquet menu, but our manor chefs are ready for special requests and experiments.
Decor is created on-site by the manor hostess (sometimes with other flower fairies), conjuring a sensory fairytale based on your color palette and wishes, combined with Abgunste's charm and proven values.
The manor atmosphere includes selected tableware, glasses, even silver, gold, bronze, or black cutlery. Tablecloths and napkins match your chosen tones.
After booking and contract, you'll get practical tools and templates nearly replacing an organizer's presence - sample script, prop list with photos, decor examples, ceremony site samples, table layouts, room plans. On your wedding day at the manor, our full staff led by the event coordinator takes care of you, making life easier for you, best men, or others - no stress, just enjoyment! Celebrating life with us, you get more than beautiful spaces and delicious food... From the manor side, we toast to peace!
If the offer works/is discussable, the next step is a site visit, followed by agreement and deposit.
